Why study history?

      A. Understanding the past is important so we don't repeat it
      B. We need to understand history to understand the world we live in now
      C. History is interesting and Mr. Darcy is super dreamy
      D. Studying history helps us understand how and why we know what we know about the past
      E. It's a gen ed requirement
